I got a payday loan from the internet. Dont have the same account? Can I go to jail for not paying it back?

I had the loan with a company I dont remember. They closed my account due to these people drawing from it and overdrawing the account. I was called and they said they are going to file criminal charges on me. I paid 1/2 of it then and now I cant afford to pay the rest. Can they put me in jail. I live in TX and am wondering about this. They said they are sending someone out to talk to my employer about this. That is illegal. I have enrolled in a Payday Assistance program to get out from them. Any advice is welcome.
